The subscan offset varies with media thickness as the camera is not typically
perfectly perpendicular to the drum. Hence the media thickness has an effect
on exactly where the edge is seen by the camera.
Camera calibration is repeated for 2 media thicknesses so that the firmware can
extrapolate the subscan offset to any media thickness. The subscan offset varies
approximately linearly with media thickness.
